Functions of the Directorate:

  • Issuance of Demand Notices and Challan Forms (DLD).

  • Issuance of Recovery Memos and Challan Forms (DEM). 

  • Issuance of Demand Notices and Challan Forms (TP).

  • Issuance of Demand Notices and Challan Forms (Commercial). 

  • Communication with concerned departments for recovery of arrears.

  • Coordination with DLD, DEM and Director (Finance) regarding recovery matters.

  • Preparation of Demand and Collection Sheet for verification of deposited amount and recover the short recoveries.

  • Processing the cases for pre-audit.

  • Preparation of weekly progress report for DG.

  • Dispatching of Challan forms/Demand Notices to computer section of Finance Directorate for booking of Demand and Collection in General Ledger.

  • Forwarding of paid Challans to relevant branch for placement in concerned files.

  • Computerized Transfer of plots

  • Shifting of Ownership Rights of a plot from one owner to another is called Transfer of plots.

  • When a plot owner sells his plot, he applies in PDA for transfer of plot to new purchaser.
